Call-to-Actions (CTA): CTA buttons that look clickable and include copy, such as Learn More or Buy Now, are not allowed because video commercials are not directly clickable on most devices.

QR Codes: QR codes are accepted for CTV only.

Hashtags: Hashtags are accepted and can be included in the content of an ad.

File Types:

-Quicktime movie (.MOV) recommended but .mpeg-4 (.mp4) accepted

-PNG or JPG accepted. JPG is better for images with blended tones, like photos. PNG is better for images with flat tones, like logos, text, and graphics.

Frame Rate (fps): Accepts 29.97, 23.98, 25, or variable frame rates.

Frame Rates refer to how many individual frames appear in a video per second. Videos should be delivered in their native frame rate or the frame rate the source footage was shot. Failing to provide an ad that meets the required frame rate can result in the ad being rejected due to duplicate frames.

Duplicate frames are repeated frames in a video, usually in a set pattern due to a pull-down conversion. The issue usually occurs when a video is changed from its native shot, typically 24-30 fps, which is the standard for TV broadcast in the United States. The native video should be used instead of the converted version.

Stitched Ads: Stitched ads are not accepted. This means two 15-second ads cannot be joined together to create a 30-second ad.

Leaders: Ads with leaders, such as slates or countdowns, are not allowed.
